If you had a load of land and the opportunity to create a new city with it, who would you give votes to? Land owners = shareholders Tax payers = paying customers Residents = users Should it be any different than a corporation? Users can vote with their feet. LO/SH hold the bag.

Hm alibaba has the “customer first, employee second, shareholder third” in the policy. customer first is a sound principle if you want to last many years. A freemium city is an interesting concept

To a point. If you give the customer everything they want, you’ll be out of business as soon as they go in to harvest mode and decide to ask for all your money.

Yes, that’s related to the “setting expectations” part of sales, which also doesn’t have a counterpart in managing a city (at least it doesn’t come to my mind now)
