I get what he's trying to say but this is sad. If you want to beat Trump, your champion can't be "not Trump". You have to put up somebody who people are actually excited to vote for. Yang, Bernie, Hillary all had energized voters. People are not going to turn up for Biden. #TKO

I don't think that's empirically true. In the US Clinton won popular vote despite being allegedly unloved and outside the US there is ample evidence of voting "against". In 2016 I bet on Trump. Not this year
