re: #TaxCABillionaires CA has the highest taxes in the nation. CA could raise more money by reducing taxes. Counter-intuitive but when you reduce fees, volume increases. The rich are fleeing CA because of high taxes. Unbundle the government. Let's see what we're paying for.

Everyone assumes that losing multi-millionaires and billionaires to other states would be a bad thing. Perhaps it would be, I'm not sure, but it would be interesting to see some good studies on it. Does a more wealth-equal state do fine compared with a less equal one?

Wealth-equal and everybody's rich certainly does better than wealth-equal and everybody's poor but a mix is best.
