re: #TaxCABillionaires CA has the highest taxes in the nation. CA could raise more money by reducing taxes. Counter-intuitive but when you reduce fees, volume increases. The rich are fleeing CA because of high taxes. Unbundle the government. Let's see what we're paying for.

US already has extremely low tax compared to other developed countries. The income and opportunity disparity in this country are the main things to worry about. When we can't provide kids in CA with equal opportunity, the fact that 10+ ppl moved elsewhere is really negligible

We are talking specifically about the implications of higher taxes on billionaires. I don't see the connection with total tax rev as % of GDP. The state fails at everything it does so why would we give the state more money? It needs to spend more wisely, not raise taxes.

Usually on private roads and when I get off the private roads they're dirty and full of pot holes. Usually, drinking bottled water because tap sucks. Usually, calling the private security/community patrol because they're nicer and faster than the cops. Usually using bitcoin.

Wrong. It needs to spend more wisely AND raise taxes on the 1%. Anyone who knows about economics understands this unless your politics align with the GOP.
