Been thinking about this problem. There are more and more alternatives for education but testing and credentialing are not keeping up. It's a real problem to be able to prove you know something. Where can I go to get random skills competently tested and earn my verifiable badges?

I respectfully **strongly** disagree. To many of us “Learning disabled” kids w/ lousy grades & crappy teacher recommendations they are our only lifeline. True, we may struggle with them as well. There are several initiatives around the KYC challenge. Still each country and each jurisdiction requires different documents and has different guidelines which makes it harder, not to mention the privacy risk of storing such data.

Regarding the hiring process, I don't think a badge system will make any difference. If you want to hire great people with great talent, your brand can do half of the job, and your hiring team should do the rest.
