Yea & beyond cheating (committed relationship) I think casual relationships (anything more than a 1 night stand) involves a burden of responsibility to set honest expectations. Even if you’re not cheating because the partner knows, if other partners don’t know that’s a lie too.

That’s fair! I’ve heard guys say stuff like “I should probably stop (sleeping w/this other woman)” or “We should’ve talked about expectations, but that would have gotten in the way (of this sexy time).” Guys kinda know when they’re being shitty vs. taking it slow. 😝

It's not just guys. Nothing can be safely inferred anymore -- gender, sexual preferences, monogamy, consent. Better explicitly ask if it matters to you. That said, knowingly leading someone on can result in serious bodily injury, unwanted babies, financial ruin. Not worth it.
