Most people can’t afford private security. Public order is a public good that should be provided by the state. If you think that you don’t deserve that for the 40% taxes you pay in the US that’s fine. Most small biz owners would disagree. 🤷🏼♂️

People can't afford it because they're spending too much on police. If they stopped paying so much for police, they'd have more than enough money to pay for private security.
People in hk pay 10% tax and still 90% small biz owners can’t afford it. Most people are dirt poor man.
Also private sec is basically a bunch of hired goons with guns. They can always make more money robbing the joint they’re guarding, then move on to the neighboring joint and then your bitcoins.
