All these social networks suck because of the lack of user controls. Let me handle my own censoring. Let me build a web of trust. I don't need to see more Yelp reviews from the guy who rated McDonalds the best hamburger ever. Show me the average rating of those I trust.

Pretty soon your ISP will be fact checking your emails before allowing them to be sent.

Look look, I agree. Iβm with you....but letβs not go as far to say that a man who believes McDonaldβs is a #1 burger is THAT untrustworthy.
Heβs wrong sure...but when it comes to delicious DQPβs , I understand that mans ranking.

When I was a lyft driver I passed on the ideas of blockchain use. Patenting messages & content through it and having said message being stored and referenced as original point of use ownership and liability in the network. For better or worse.
Examples follow

Patent your original content on a network. That network would provide reference as to creator/owner/transfer of ownership & value. Having content On the network one can be owner of content without the use for media or middle companies can earn & create income.

They also suck because many otherwise intelligent people have stopped questioning information, recently. There was a time when they questioned anything, but now they rely on weak "proof" because it serves the narratives they were fed.
