Worker at Tesla's Fremont plant told me: “We’re extremely frustrated, angry, scared, that Elon is putting his cars before his workers."
Conversation
I heard that other workers are extremely grateful to have a job and be back at work, and that they appreciate Elon taking on the personal risk in order to save their factory. I also heard that employment in California is at-will and people who don't like having a job can quit.
Just reporting what I heard.

That is highly insensitive; people who don’t like having a job can quit?
California is still around 25,000 tests/day in a state of 39M.
How about people want to ensure they don’t contract a disease which has killed 70,000 people in 2 months in this country.

Those people are also eligible to quit under California law.

It means both the employer and the employee are free to end the employment relationship at any time. Some places require either or both sides to give a significant amount of notice ahead of exiting the relationship.
Saying "You can quit, losing any unemployment, health coverage, and the ability to buy food," is not a viable option and you know it. It is absolutely ridiculous for you to suggest this is anything but Musk forcing his employees to break the law in an unsafe environment
