Why is there outrage over well-run, profitable companies taking federal COVID loans? Just because they have cash in the bank doesn't mean they're not affected. Wouldn't it be unfair to only give the loans to those who weren't prepared?
I agree.. but I think it's asking a lot for a business to make financial decisions based on morals, in a highly uncertain time. If the food bank didn't have any lines but there was high uncertainty about food supplies, I'm sure you'd see people hoarding out of the food bank too.
