Why is there outrage over well-run, profitable companies taking federal COVID loans? Just because they have cash in the bank doesn't mean they're not affected. Wouldn't it be unfair to only give the loans to those who weren't prepared?
Being in construction, people don't realize monthly operating costs upwards of $20,000 just to keep a company running, and that's with no trucks on the road and no boots on the ground...
For sure, it can look like you are rich with assets but physical assets usually come with maintenance costs and overhead, whether you're doing business or not.
