Why is there outrage over well-run, profitable companies taking federal COVID loans? Just because they have cash in the bank doesn't mean they're not affected. Wouldn't it be unfair to only give the loans to those who weren't prepared?

I can’t speak to the US but in the UK, my football club, one of the most successful had applied for gov. COVID grants.There was outrage amongst the fans who felt the government could better spend it on the heath service or poor and the club reversed the decision.

Probably are better things to spend money on, if you have a finite amount of money but who gets to decide? Can't blame businesses for applying for the grants when they're technically qualified. What if their competitors get it and they don't, or what if things get worse?
Yes, we can. And the UK citizens did. This phony concern trolling is tiring.
