So, I'm not allowed to go out for a jog or hike? Where is the data supporting this level of isolation? Surely, I don't need to make a fake run to the supermarket just to get some fresh air?

You can go outside for a walk or hike or run, you just need to maintain a 6 foot distance from people who don’t live in your home.
We’ve been on shelter in place here in the Bay Area, been hiking and for a walk around the neighborhood. Saw kids out riding bikes. This is all okay

Get a grip. You are overreacting. Running, walking, hiking etc. are alright - in fact, encouraged - so long as you don't get within 6 ft. of anyone else (except members of your household).
