The goal is to build. A rising tied lifts all boats imo so as the industry progresses and companies grow organically in size and revenue, outsiders will join causing a domino effect of sorts - not to mention the exponential growth of venture-backed $$$ since 2017

Depends entirely on position.
But for *most* entry, mid, and senior (that don’t _need_ crypto experience) - I think it’s smarter to hire in tech outside of crypto. Particularly from product-focused backgrounds.
Crypto still needs to focus on building products that get adopted.
