We work at a large company of 800 employees. We aren't on the marketing team, nor do we review all copy.
No silence has been bought. Jesse is an amazing CEO who allows us to freely speak our thoughts.

"Fairer"

That's a good point. PoW as a coin-distribution mechanism is interesting. Either you are ok with a token sale or you could potentially take a snapshot of a PoW chain and use that to bootstrap

This... This is clearly within the realmof . I don't know that and have the leash to influence such things at . I would hope they are given more power to guide their respective areas and move the ball down the field, or cut-bait.

I obviously donโt review every bit of text on the website. Iโm not sure what the issue is here. Is the statement untrue? Seems like outrage/cancel culture in effect here.

Are you arguing that POS is not fairer?
Dan did:

Thus confirming arguability. Why are we arguing whether this is arguable or not?

It is not: wealthy people can buy a very large portion of the supply and getcontrol just staking it, no other investment is necessary.

Or... wait a minute.. if you own an exchange you become the largest stake holder. Oof.

That's exactly the kind of comment that made me NOT use as exchange even though it would have been the most convenient choice for me.
Exchanges are trusted third parties, you don't earn trust with spineless statements. POS is not "arguably" unfair and you know it.

I am arguing that it is not fairer. The only way to earn rewards in PoS is by buying stake from previous hodlers. The problem here is: Earning rewards=no sales. No profit=selling is scamming.
PoW is open to all, no need to pay existing miners for access.

Any questions about the logic here please ask! The argument is simple: Stake systems enable rent seeking behavior. PoW does not!

Jesse just rephrase that part to something you're comfortable with.

In what way is giving money only to those who have it fairer than giving money to those who work for it?
