uh-huh. newer generations just know what to bargain for, after seeing their parents lose: job security, paid overtime, pensions. You just want people who'll slave for peanuts.

No idea how soft kids are these days, but I'd draw the line at threats, cursing, screaming, etc. Being at a startup is no excuse to not treat subordinates with respect.

Bosses aren’t bullies...these new kids are just weak. They all have ‘mental issues’, can’t cope with real life & demand disability leave to ‘find themselves’. Half can barely converse w/o an app. It’s really sad.

My first job was in management consulting. I got yelled at by a partner for not aligning his PowerPoint bullet points. Did I think he was a bully? Nope. Appropriately demanding? Nope. I thought he was just an asshole. But boy did I learn to align them mothefucking bullets!
