ho/hum Funny story: cashiers/servers on autopilot often refer to me as a female. Then they notice that I haven't shaved in 2 weeks and try to play it off, probably unsure about making a mistake in the other direction. Neutered language would make things a lot easier.

This goes for any form of identity. Don't call me a tailor if I'm a blacksmith. Don't call me a geek if I'm a nerd. I agree it's rude to knowingly/intentionally refer to them as something that they view as mutually exclusive with their identity. Is "enby" both or neither?
