Met a rideshare driver today who wakes up at 3 AM every day to drive Sacramento to San Francisco. Arrives at 5 AM, works through end of traditional workday most days.
He said the money in SF is extremely favorable (“$25k more than if I did it at home”) but all would go to rent.
