Majorly screwed up and extremely dangerous. How could someone actually put their real residential address on their ID knowing that it will be sold to just about anyone? Highly recommend finding an alternative "residential" address for the date you complete your DL form.

In Texas it's illegal to not have your place of residence.. you must change it after 6 months after moving.

Yes, reprehensible to sell PII. IRS Circular 230 mandates confidentiality of taxpayer info, and privacy abuses disgust me. Unfortunately, most people can't afford maintaining a second residential address. Creating legal structures to enhance privacy is even more expensive.
