Residents of San Francisco, if you could keep your job but do it remote, from anywhere in the world, how much cash compensation would you be willing to trade? e.g., tomorrow, you move in to a luxury condo on the beach in Thailand, sell your car, stop paying CA income tax, etc.

Assume employee will since relocation costs are hugely variable and the employee could choose to nomad eternally. Maybe company covers a one-way ticket anywhere in the world. After that you're on your own.

Nomading is totally the way to go btw.... especially w/ my family Curious, who pays internet and other potential remote nomad benefits - like coffee or a health/workout monthly stipends? Or are those part of $ compensation?

The coffee thing is more to get you out somewhere w/ people. At Lambda, they let our staff do coffee for meetings up w/ other remoters by submitting receipts. Of course, receipts are extremely verifiable I suppose over a stipend. This is really just a function of socialization.

As someone also interested in alternative financing, improving education (particularly, Financial education), and access to both of these - what are your thoughts on Income Share Agreements (ISA’s)?
