What's with the "right" to healthcare thing lately? Are we going to enslave the world's doctors? I would be happy to help my neighbors buy healthcare, provided I can ensure they are doing their part taking care of themselves and we are getting a fair price. No slavery though plz.

I just got a $173 bill to see a nurse practitioner. I have insurance. Not in much of a mood to talk about fair pricing right now. Who says doctors have to be enslaved?

The ones enslaved are the poor without healthcare. Nothing changes for the doctors. The good ones get paid more in Canada.

What happens when you need a vaccine that cost a few milion usd (yes it does exist ! -a 2years old kid needed in orther to survive recently in my country). So if you are not a millionaire than ok just die right?!!!

It's not a straw man. Technically, it's reductio ad absurdum. The point is that we can agree that there is *some* line at which a life is not worth saving, or at which health care is not worth providing. So, where is that line? 50% tax? 100% tax, 200% tax?
