What's with the "right" to healthcare thing lately? Are we going to enslave the world's doctors? I would be happy to help my neighbors buy healthcare, provided I can ensure they are doing their part taking care of themselves and we are getting a fair price. No slavery though plz.

I’m running a company with 20 employees and pay ~19% income tax in Germany. Free healthcare for the family & education for the boys. And some more people who were less privileged, lucky, (not only less hard working) than me. So where‘s the slavery narration fitting in here again?

Germany is a first world country. Same the sustainable free healthcare in Australia. I have private health cover, but my daughter broke her arm a few weeks ago requiring surgery and stay to fix it. That first class children's hospital stay cost me $0. The US has no excuse.

I'm well aware of my privileges which makes me disagree with you. I'm grateful to be in a position to support others, directly and via our tax system which redistributes money that I was not only, but also, able to make because of this stable society, education for all aso.

Reg "global" you are right, I got this wrong from your 1st tweet. Yes, it will be expensive, but imo it's at least a great vision, 'cause "human beings". We create the world by the priorities we set. One war less here, an F-35 program less there. If we have one thing it's money.

Humm the US pays more for its healthcare system globally then say in France (where yes lots wrong with it) comparatively. So your argument that it's a slavery tax is simply bullocks. Hell in the EU U. health care was put in place after a freaking WW2, wasn't exactly rolling in $
