💯 Has nothing to do with "free speech". But obviously, people have the freedom to boycott companies based on whatever criteria they choose, ex. unethical behavior.

For sure, and I think they should boycott unethical behavior. It's not clear to me though that limiting speech in a tournament is unethical. If you want to bring diverse people together to compete and you want the focus to stay on the game, some limitations might be helpful.

Your argument is both rational and practical. Freedom to: 👉speak ones viewpoint. 👉hold a tourney w/rules. 👉boycott the tourney corp. All important freedoms. Then again, protests, by their very nature, call attention to an issue by being disruptive. Feature, not bug.
