Isn't that what Hong Kongers are trying to do? They disagree with the game rules imposed on them by China, so they are trying to opt out. Totalitarian regimes are not known for their favorable policy changes.

Yeah, respectable for to sac his prize to make a statement. Olympics have similar rules. In some cases rules are worth breaking. Doesn't mean rules are bad. I think the rationale for the rule is that the organizer wants to provide a safe space, free of controversey.
