The important thing is the world just got safer for freedom fighters. Evil govts have one less ally to turn to. Recidivism rates are high so it's critical that offenders be assimilated back in to society and find jobs in financial services where they can leverage their skills.

I used to work in forensics that sold data recovery software to governments, fascist or not. And its not about "having to" because that shit is a *cash cow*. Seriously. They throw tax payer dollars around like they're worthless

What proof do we have this is a transition? Did they apologise for their actions, make reparations to the people victimized, promised to never sell out journalists again? Adding "blockchain" does not make people ethical. Giving them this power is a reward they haven't earned.
