Yes, could be true but the circumstances in the month leading up to this make it extremely suspect. It's like a Gox/Cryptsy combo. Fiat problems, crypto withdrawals up, capitulate/vanish. Would like to have more conclusive information and speak to law enforcement before sharing.

Did Indian/Canadian authorities ever confirm his death due to crohns? By confirm I mean with legit proof?

As far as I know, a death certificate has been produced by a Canadian funeral home. Who knows if it's legit. We also don't know if there were any witnesses or an autopsy, or whether any authorities in Canada have seen the body and verified identity.
