Is "ripple" or "ripples" deprecated? Is a singular unit called a ripple or ripples?

Nevermind, found the answer (unless anything has changed since 2013). ripple = protocol, Ripple = currency.

Legit. Thanks for sharing. Also from 2013. I've been around the XRP community for a year and a half. Over that entire time nobody with credibility in the #XRPcommunity continues to call XRP by the name of "Ripple" or uses it interchangeably with XRP as a unit of measurement.

I would love for you to receive some updated info. Unfortunately I'm not the person that can provide it to you. I can just give you my humble experience. There are many companies building on the XRP ecosystem (, . , etc). In 2013 there was just one.
