Okay, , I understand your question more clearly now. I don't believe 1 XRP is equivalent to 1 unit of some measure called a "Ripple". I know what the Drop unit of measure is and have always heard that term used. I haven't heard of a "Ripple" unit of measure.

This shows clearly that a drop is one millionth of an XRP. NOT one millionth of some nonexistent unit of measure (Ripple). The "Ripple" unit of measure could be a misnomer from people inappropriately using the term Ripple in place of the cryptocurrency #XRP.

Possibly but none of the Twitter Ripple experts seem to be able to point to updated info. So, we'll carry on with the assumption that the old info is still current and good.
