Release the Kraken! As in, please allow whales to deposit coins so we can watch them get eaten :-) I don't see how that would ever be safe on such tiny hashpower chains though, unless you deploy Proof-of-Prison type measures against deep reorgs.

One solution is to patch ABC so it accepts new checkpoints via the p2p protocol (co)signed by their lead developers, and perhaps some exchanges. Kraken could then accept deposits once they're beneath the latest checkpoint. Along with BTC bond from Jihan/Roger that should be safe.
