Unfortunately, some CEOs are myopic & believe that they have a fiduciary duty to shareholders alone, with little responsibility to the communities in which they do business. Business Is The Greatest Platform For Change. Homeslessness is Everyone’s Business! Vote Yes on C!

This problem does adversely affect fiduciary duties of companies to shareholders. When employees refuse to visit their #sf office because they don't feel safe, it's bad for business. I know #propc isn't perfect, but it's more than a great start! Nice job Marc!

It's not necessarily bad for business. More people going remote actually be good for business. But speaking of fiduciary duties, shareholders will be asking about strategies to minimize the impact of C, if it passes, including relocation, diversion of revenue to a foreign entity.

Sorry let me elaborate. When you have employees in Sydney or London or NYC and they “need” to come to SF for some reasonable business activity but they refuse because they don’t feel safe (I know of these situations) I’d suggest it’s bad for business.

Apparently you don’t spend much time in the city. I’ve lived here on and off since 1980. It’s heartbreaking. The issues I refer to have nothing to do with . I don’t know him never mind work for him. Frankly, I’d support everyone paying to help solve the problem.

Don't know where you read that but if you're a shareholder, employee or client of any of these qualifying businesses, you will be affected.
