You are top of society. Rich and educated. Can escape if necessary, but also may be good if you invest in education (or even research) that will decrease number of zombies in society (or improve other conditions). Media are weak. Good leaders are needed.

It's a noble challenge that I'd love to be able to spend more time on. Mental health is a serious problem in this country which doesn't get the attention it needs. People come out of war/trauma, no help to deal with PTSD, they turn to drugs. Drugs lead to them traumatizing others

Very noble of you. Mental illness, not mental health, is definitely a serious problem and I fully agree with you on that. But do you think referring to these people as "crack zombies" helps anything?
