We are told the post office should be shut down and yet we burn money on ridiculous military displays during a pandemic? It captures the priorities of this government pretty damn well.

NYC government just sent out an alert saying: “8 US Air Force Thunderbirds & 7 US Navy Blue Angels will be flying over parts of MN, BK, & SI on 4/28 @ 12PM to honor essential personnel.” How is this a wise use of money when people are in long lines for food and can’t pay rent?

Better use of money would be for PPE. If it needs to go to vets how about badly needed healthcare and mental services.
