There is an important insight in the linked piece that lack of insurance coverage is "a gross violation of personal autonomy". A right, without the means to act on that right, can be meaningless. That's why I prioritize universal insurance coverage for proven effective therapies

Nonsense. Insurance in usa often won’t pay for approved drugs and treatments(sadly)

Even if they covered every proven therapy in full, it'd be a tough case to claim they should be expected to pay for unproven interventions. We do need to figure out a way to pay for preapproval access when companies can't or won't, but this isn't it.
