Think Mr Corbyn's focus on trains is getting him 'side tracked' from Brexit. Now be is onto the cold weather! If you want people to chooo chooo choose you, then derail Brexit!

This kind of comment is exactly why so many left-leaning Remainers are alienated by the "People's Vote" campaign. It comes across as sneering, privileged & uncaring. Homelessness is a tragedy happening *now*. It's freezing *now*. The Tories have worsened it Brexit or no Brexit.
-
I apologise if I have caused any agro or offense. Was not my intention.
-
Thank you. Just get upset by the current wave of homelessness.
-
You don't think there's a very real danger that Brexit will make homelessness even worse than it currently is? There's a need to wake up to what it actually means. A lot of people are going to lose their jobs. No jobs results in no means to pay mortgages & so further homelessness
-
The main cause driving the current homeless epidemic is a Tory government, as it always is. Benefit sanctions, the closure of shelters, cuts to counselling services and the deregulation of the rental market have nothing to do with Brexit and everything to do with Toryism. 1/2
-
I agree that Brexit may well aggravate that - especially in the hands of the Tories. However, if you can't see how self-interested & inappropriate it is to reframe *every issue* through the prism of Brexit (especially one as tragic as this) then the Remain campaign is in trouble.
-
It just looks like a bunch of people who didn't really care about politics until it directly impacted them (removing their freedom of movement) suddenly leaping into action & demanding that a leftwing Labour leader (who they would've probably derided anyway) listen to them *now*.

73% of Labour members think Brexit was a mistake
72% of Labour members want a #PeoplesVote on the final deal
88% of Labour members would vote remain if we had a People's Vote
If you're still backing Corbyn you need to realise: You Are Part Of The Problem. -

Offsetting "disgracefully" with commas may have been valuable here.

It could have been dealt with years ago. Homeless charities have raised almost £1bn over the last decade. Wheres the money gone?

Charity deception.

Labour might as well promise to end cold weather, as it will achieve neither!
-
You are a Tory fool. The policy is very doable in a month. We need a Corbyn govt that wants to do it.

No government is able to wipe out rough sleeping. There are and always will be people for whom rough sleeping is just the way of life..

All MP's should have a night of rough sleeping before they vote on anything to do with homelessness
-
I can totally throw my support behind this idea
, great idea it needs to be done!! Make them really experience how it feels for those much less fortunate. -
I'm not sure a night would be enough.
-
Yes you make a great point, maybe a year would suffice or 8 years. Like the 8 years the Tories have been in govt.
-
And the years before when there was a Labour government?
-
just out for a little troll, huh?
