Ten years ago today the financial crash began. The people who caused it now call me a threat. They’re right. Labour is a threat to a damaging and failed system rigged for the few.

Tory cuts have put prison officers and prisoners in harm's way. The Government must take urgent action to end the crisis of understaffing and overcrowding.

There are 9,000+ assaults on prison staff each year. That's more than one every hour! Instead of taking legal action against prison officers as it has been far too quick to do in the past, the Gov't needs to take measures to win back their support and guarantee their safety.

The Tories brought shame on the UK by backing Hungary's far right government in a crucial vote in Europe. trying to sweep it under the carpet is disgraceful. The Prime Minister must apologise and explain why her Party voted in the way it did.

It is Tory austerity, not migrants, that is to blame for public services cuts. Labour will put the needs of our economy first, not an arbitrary and meaningless migration target.

The Tories are cutting drug and alcohol addiction services. What kind of a Government would do this? Labour will reverse these cuts and expand funding for these essential services.

Later I’m at the National Substance Misuse Conference - cuts are pushing drug & alcohol services to breaking point. It means devastated lives. So with drug related deaths highest since records began, Labour will fully resource & expand addiction services

If you’re a worker, we’ve got bad news – you’re worse off by £800 a year under the Tories 😲 And if you’re in your 30s, it’s even worse – you’re down by over £2,000 😡 It’s time for proper change, that only Labour will deliver.
