    The biggest challenge we face today is not the Left. It’s changing the mentality on the Right. It’s very difficult to change someone’s mentality. We cannot “live and let live” our way out of this. Time to start doing things that make you uncomfortable.

    Conservatives want to be able to live according to their own values. Leftists want to be able to force you to live by their values. The former wants to be left alone, the latter refuses to do so. That’s why Rs play defense & Ds play offense. Sincerely, what’s the remedy?

    She moved here when the Communists were still running Hungary. Other than that, brilliant point. Also, have you ever heard of economies of scale? China still a lot poorer than Hungary but companies want in because of the overall market size.

    Is anyone remotely surprised that the key figure in mRNA vaccine science moves from Hungary to the United States rather than the other way around?

    Imagine thinking that California is a better state for *actual Americans* (not foreigners) since it was taken over by tech bros and "progressives". The enormous net domestic migration from California starting in the 1990s suggests you are completely full of it.

    The whole conservative movement is rushing to abandon free markets because the median tech industry worker has progressive views on cultural issues.
