I don't think it's just a little misleading. It gives the wrong impression.

I received my authorization code 2 business days after submitting the info. I also thought I read they're not enforcing the policy until June 1.
-
What I hear from folks getting authorized over the past week or two is that it's taking significantly longer to get a code now. Talking a week plus. Any new ads placed are subject to the rules effective 5/25. Existing ads have until June to become compliant.

Facebook needs to be regulated. Now.
-
We find ourselves in an intolerable, unsustainable situation. Yet, I cannot imagine our Vichy legislative branch wisely regulating anything. Historic voter turnout* and FB account deletion seem the only viable solutions. But I'm open to suggestions. *Hand-marked, paper ballots.

This is a huge issue in my race. Only a few have access. And FB's line that they gave notice is untrue. It seems people only found out by stumbling on it. We reached out months ago when it was announced, but they didn't have the workflow in place to apply yet.
