    Let’s try this again: “She believes a lie that has been continually proven false. He believes the truth. There is common ground if we start with facts and honesty.”

    She thinks the election was stolen from Donald Trump. He believes what dozens of courts and officials have found: that Joe Biden is the rightful winner. They're trying to find common ground but wonder whether they – and the nation – can do it.

    This - & so many other examples. The fact that they were allowed to just walk in & out without arrest makes my blood boil. Been said on here many times but must be repeated: this would not have happened if they were Black or Latino or Muslim or... anything but white (mostly) men

    In 2017, Senator-Elect Raphael Warnock was arrested in the Capitol rotunda for *praying* in opposition to the GOP’s assault on health care. Just think about that, given the events on January 6th.

    I read this thread last night & have been thinking about it since. Powerful & sobering take

    Biden is going to win . So why are people of color in agony? Because a racist and misogynist POTUS can preside over tens of thousands preventable American deaths, tank the economy and undermine liberal democracy, and at least 70m Americans say: "Run that back." 1/

    This is why the data shows Biden will win PA

    Bucks County, PA (Philly suburb) just dropped a little over 12,000 ballots. Not on NYT yet. Trump had been leading the count there until this batch. Here's how they broke: Biden: 9,736 (77%) Trump: 2,972 (23%) In a county that has been shaded red on NYT's map.

    This is important. The white men planning to kidnap a sitting Governor are "domestic terrorists." Calling them "militia" is b.s. that would never happen if they were people of color.

    They’re not “militias.” They’re domestic terrorists endangering and intimidating their fellow Americans. Words matter.

    My friend lost our fantasy football league last year. His punishment was supposed to be performing the half time show at the minor league basketball arena in Chicago. COVID ruined those plans. Join me in enjoying his Twitter halftime performance instead.

    note to self: don't compete in fantasy football leagues w/ a punishment for last place when you're doing a presidential. i lost last year & my punishment is to dance (poorly) for >2 minutes & post to twitter. obviously, there was only one song i could choose.

    I never expected at 39 to open and find my life laid beautifully naked before the world by . I also never expected at 36, on the same day we brought our 2nd daughter home, to be told that I had a terminal illness. But here we are.
