I am stuck on “my teen was out for a date at a restaurant.” Clearly a mature and well raised teen but I am not surprised given the mom! Ps. good reminder for all of us to look for those moments in our busy, heads in phones lives
My teen was out on a date last night and when they asked for the bill, the waitress said that another patron had taken care of it. They didn’t know anyone in the restaurant. That is some next-level random act of kindness! I am totally going to do the move the next chance I get!

That is amazing. I saw that happen once with a table full of kids in a nice restaurant. They were counting money under the table. When they asked for the bill, the waiter said the older couple picked up the whole tab. They had already left. I cried a little..

#DriveThruDifference. Yrs ago on a biz trip to SF, I went to see jazz-fav@wyntonmarsalis at a local club. Standing in a long line, the doorman grab me and said someone had bought my ticket—front row.
