Don’t like Pelosi, but can’t quite articulate why? Felt the same way about Hillary Clinton? Time for some deep self-reflection about gender bias and leadership.

So if one doesn’t like them (but can’t articulate why), it must be only due to sexism? wow. You can’t think of any other reasons? If anything, ppl who are good at articulating things are usually charlatans.

The trap here is that when you *do* articulate things you don't like about them, those things are dismissed as sexism in a tautology that amounts to being unable to criticize either of them. Plenty of men in politics I don't like, too.

I realized why I didn't like Clinton after I found Dr. Ford so compelling and powerful - Sec. Clinton didn't show any vulnerability. Neither does Pelosi, and I think that's why a lot of people find it easy to dislike her.

Right. Do you see how women are required to be vulnerable to be liked? Do you think male leaders are held to this standard?

Pelosi is vilified by the GOP and some of it stuck to her (same as Hillary btw). This is what the misogynistic GOP does to women.
She’s 78; it’s time to nurture future dem leaders. But if she doesn’t step aside she should be supported.
Let’s stick together for good of country.

I get what you mean about needing younger dems to rise up, but after staying at home to raise my young children, my life is just beginning again at 34. I hope that I won’t be pushed aside simply because of my age when like Nancy I spent years raising children.

I support @Ocasio2018, , , , , and .
I absolutely did not support Hillary and absolutely don't support Pelosi.
YOU are who needs "deep self-reflection" as to why you favor them, and not Progressives.

This is why Democrats always end up back in the minority. This is why we fail even though a majority of the country shares our views. Also, one of those is a senator and can't be speaker of the House, though she'd be the only one you mentioned that's even close to qualified.

yes, makes much more sense to die alone on a moralistic hill and call it success.
