Of course Trump is having a rally tonight. A rally is exactly where you would find a faux-populist demagogue like Trump when he's impeached. Trump regularly takes his case to his rallies for his crowd to adjudicate.

The rallies allow Trump and his followers to express their love for one another. Trump whines and complains and attacks, which allows him to use a rhetoric of victimage to bond Trump to his base. They are fascist festivals of grievances and they are very effective.
