I just watched "The Farewell" again last night, and it truly breaks my heart to see it completely shut out like this.
THE FAREWELL and HUSTLERS were two truly original, excellent and PROFITABLE films both written and directed by women and their total shut-out is discouraging. #Oscars

Just cos they’re excellent films don’t mean they should get nominated. The two mentioned are amazing films but they lost our to equally good if not even better films.
