I’m so sorry to hear of Conor’s passing - I read his work at and he later interned at Gothamist. I was so excited to see him at Politico and the Post. He was a thoughtful and talented journalist.

Working w/ Jake for 6 years was a real privilege. He embedded in New Rochelle's containment zone; detailed Adams' rat drownings; covered nights of BLM protests; questioned the NYPD and mayor; & the list goes on! He's an amazing reporter, someone you'd always want on your team.

Gwynne is an incredible journalist & colleague! I'm so lucky I got to work w/her, seeing her cover the measles outbreak in 2019; break the story about NYC undercounting COVID deaths; revealing the toxic atmosphere of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office; and so much more. She is the best.
