"Person" is fairly specific -- not a coterie (or really mass) of thousands or tens of thousands of admirable folks. Even dividing the "person" into 2 stretches it a bit, but very justifiably. After 4 years of nightmare, the couple who shake you & say "it's ok now" are it!
