-Housing task force has *voted unanimously* to send an eviction grace period ordinance to the city
-@HAAonline board has voted to endorse the ordinance
(But there is no grace period ordinance on the agenda this week at city council)
Harris County Judge @LinaHidalgoTX says Justice of the Peace Laryssa Korduba called her office to say she's continuing to hear eviction cases.

Half a dozen members of the housing stability task force spoke at commissioners court today, all sounded frustrated that Mayor @SylvesterTurner hasn't put a grace period ordinance on the city council agenda. The task force voted unanimously in favor of the policy last week.
Meanwhile at city council, Mayor @SylvesterTurner is arguing renters need more federal rent relief - not a grace period.
For what it's worth: the city already gave $14.4 million directly to landlords and we have no idea who received it because that information is "confidential."
