Same. The more understanding we bring to our plight, the better. The absurd disputes over CRT and the 1619 Project are distractions. Hopefully having to now explain the purpose and importance behind Juneteenth will lead to some hard truths. Understanding comes from Knowledge.

Yeah because it doesn't change anything like say the George Floyd bill would. It won't fix everything but it's start. We can't even get that. But they will sure use our votes, culture, hardwork, and watch us play ball.

Prob because white people get the day off as well, but a lot of them won't know why. Illinois had (has?) Casimir Pulaski Day. Doesn't mean people know who he is, but they def liked the day off.
