Good morning to everyone except the people who use Father’s Day to start unnecessary, pointless ass gender wars, who wish single mothers a Happy Father’s Day, or say Happy Father’s Day to lesbian couples. You are the worst. May your cereal be soggy, and your bunions hurt all day.

There are conversations that take place on Father’s Day #OnHere that never happen on Mother’s Day. Lot of bitterness and hatred. The comment about lesbians was directed toward those trying to be funny and lowkey homophobic.

You know, a lot non-binary parents out there may lean toward Father's Day more. As so lesbian couples who may be more masc in gender expression. And some kids like to recognize how single moms did things that single moms never get credit for doing. What's so wrong with that?

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. One of my dear friends is a lesbian raising a son with her wife. She is the provider and her wife is a stay-at-home Mom. Some people wish her a happy father’s day trying to be funny. She’s very insulted by it.

Some people have shitty fathers and should get to be in their feelings about it. I don’t know why you’d be bothered by someone recognizing their parents if they don’t have a father. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m really shocked at this. Like, I respect people’s choices to celebrate Father’s Day however they choose to, it’s their life and relationships. So this rage is just out of character...and quite goofy. lol like no one is threatening masculinity by celebrating they mom today lol

Not taking away from the dads who do their jobs as parents every day. They deserve to be celebrated. I’m just giving my mom an extra day to feel extra appreciated. Is that a crime?
