I never admitted that. They are talking about generational curses. We are talking of original sin

But it gives two opposite answers to the same question right? I mean, even if it isn't your favorite "original sin" thing since that's actually not in the Bible, it IS a clear contradiction.

It's not just as in story when Jesus heals blind man. His disability was from him or his parents. But sin in general. That's different than our conversation

Wait, is that what Jesus said? "Neither this man nor his parents sinned..." Huh, I think maybe you should read that again.

They sinned but that was reason he was blind

But you just told me that the blind man's sin was from him or his parents. Yet Jesus said: “Neither this man nor his parents sinned” (NIV)

Their sin was not directly responsible for blindness

Look, I'll help you out. Adam (Hebrew a'dam, "the-human") is cursed in the garden: (1) growing food will be hard work, and (2) death will be a fact of life. Cain is the one to whom God says: "sin, a crouching-demon, toward you his lust— but you can rule over him.pic.twitter.com/6Pp7av1ja7

God clearly tells Cain that sin is tempting him to kill his brother, but that Cain has the power to choose differently! That is the first mention of sin in the entire Bible. It's not mentioned ONCE in the story of a'dam and Eve in Eden.

In Deuteronomy 30:11-20 God makes it clear that the Law He gave the Israelites is achievable! It's not far off across the ocean or way up in the heavens, but it is “very near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart for you to observe” (v. 14).

Problem is that years later many people forgot the Jewish/Gentile context of what Paul was arguing. He wanted Gentiles included in the church without converting to Judaism through circumcision and food rules. Those are what he was referring to by "the Law."https://peteenns.com/paul-adam-and-salvation-maybe-augustine-really-did-screw-everything-up-and-we-should-just-move-on/ …
