Don't know if this is a seasonal thing or what, but there were a TON of tweeprints last month

Good point! Just checked and it does look like people with fewer followers actually have a better likes/followers ratio. That's pretty encouraging!pic.twitter.com/pWhTgySzBP

Of course, the more followers you have, the more attention your tweeprint will get. Of users with the 10 most-liked tweeprints, the median number of followers was 7k. (All but two of those users were PIs!) Of all 251 tweeprints, the median was 0.13 likes per follower. (6/n)pic.twitter.com/hRzFK6Xmtw

One of the best things about tweeprints is it's a way to share your science with a broad range of scientists and non-scientists. And tweeprints get a lot of eyeballs! The distribution for # likes and RTs was roughly log-normal, with a median of 112 likes and 42 RTs. (5/n)pic.twitter.com/5BHf39BCvj

Where are most tweeprinted papers published? 136 of 251 tweeprinted papers were on a preprint server (93 on biorxiv). What really surprised me here though was how many tweeprinted papers were published in higher-impact journals such as nature/cell/elife... (3/n)pic.twitter.com/eADhRkfN3G

Always a good idea to start off your solution to life, the universe, and everything with a poem you wrote: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/858423v1 …pic.twitter.com/VoqTpMgaR7

At a high level, I think most applications of topology to neuro have been about the topology of network structure. The classic example being how hippocampal cells' network structure may induce place fields.pic.twitter.com/RTPs3W5kGC

At first I was skeptical of the idea of studying dexterity in rodents. But this video! My four-month-olds still can't do what this mouse is doing! (From a great talk today by
@AdamHantman on the neural circuits of dexterity--including some awesome work by@bsauerbrei1)pic.twitter.com/skpwipdWbrPrikaži ovu nit -

New paper from Doug Ruff and Marlene Cohen proposes a new explanation for how attention improves perceptual discrimination: the mean firing rates representing the two stimuli shift to be more aligned with a fixed readout (panel b). https://www.nature.com/articles/s41593-019-0477-1 …pic.twitter.com/2qIfz1PvcO

Before our babies were born, Jess and I spent two yrs making music together. We put in a lot of time on these, so I’m really excited to finally share them! You can listen in full at http://bayesball.bandcamp.com . Let us know what you think! The video is some creepy/sloppy StyleGAN.pic.twitter.com/eKkJGdixgT
