@adamlevitan why cut him? Money savings that has to do with contract language?

Opens up roster spot, and allowed you to hold off on putting two guys on IR where one is now eligible to return.
-
makes sense. interesting though - I wonder why they chose to do that with Forsett over some other guys.
-
can't figure that part out.Forsett had to be agreeable. But might they alter his contract a little? Not sure
-
Interesting that they chose Forsett over another vested veteran, like Chris Carter on minimum salary
-
Agreed. Makes me wonder why they'd choose a player who's a big part of week 1's gameplan.
-
Well he practiced yesterday, players are off today and tomorrow; and he'll be good to go by practice Tuesday. So misses nothing
-
-
-
so where's the re-signing news? Just working on logistics?
-
Yeah, this is the plan/expectation. Nothing is official yet.
-
-
-
Can you explain. The benefit of cutting and resigning him please? I seen it somewhere.
-
It's in link I tweeted out. Basically they used his roster spot, and held off a day on Hester, as placeholder to keep two guys
-
-
-
Is that a confirm on Forsett resigns.
-
I expected him to re-sign all along, and that remains the plan.
-
-
-
what do you think is the earliest he could return?
-
Tomorrow or Tuesday maybe. They're off tomorrow, but I'd be surprised if he's not practicing Tues-Wed
-
cool thanks!

@rotoworld someone isn't doing research, Forsett was released days ago and you allowed this to post? http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4819/justin-forsett … -
Interesting. Forsett was Cut, could have been signed by another team and is going to Play a "Significant Role", in Wk #1. ??
